Vital Derby prediction league
Okay, so we`ve all been there, down the pub with your mates, debating the real reason Liam Dickinson never pulled on a Derby shirt or whether Miles Addison`s best position is in the centre of midfield or defence and just how bad is that 'slime green` away kit? Well now you can show your knowledge of The Rams in our all new prediction league. Each week you can post your predictions for the upcoming action as Nigel Clough leads his side through the 2009/10 Championship season.

As we look to freshen up Vital Derby for the forthcoming season with more interactive features we are proud to introduce our new prediction league. To join in simply provide your predictions for each and every Derby County game during the forthcoming season as and when the articles appear on the site (or via the forum). Results will be published on a monthly basis so don`t worry if you miss the start of the season you will be able to join in whenever you like.

You will get two points for a correct result (ie. home win, away win or a draw) and five for the correct score (ie. 1-0, 4-4, etc.) along with bonus points on offer for predicting The Rams first goal scorer and the attendance to the nearest thousand. So, for example, you will need to predict:

The score Derby County 2-0 Peterborough United

The attendance 32,000

The Rams first goal scorer Chris Porter

A 1-0 victory for The Rams would give you two points for a correct score with one point if Chris Porter scores the first goal and another point if the attendance is between 32,000 and 32,999. Is picking the result as hard as predicting the direction of a Claude Davis header or are you the Vital Derby Alan Hansen? Get involved and show us what you`re made of.
