Following the disappointment of the postponement of the Forest game, The Rams have the chance to get back to winning ways with a trip to London to face struggling Millwall.
Derby manager believes The Lions are a better side than their league position suggests so the game will be a tough one but should be winnable.
The Rams saw off their opponents with a 3-0 win earlier in the season. It was extremely comfortable but Kenny Jackett's side will be a different prospect on home soil.
Nigel Clough recalls the Lions fixture earlier in the season: 'It was a good performance and the goals came at the right time,' he said.
'Despite the last two results, we are going to Millwall confident, though we know it will be another very tough game.
'Our performance against Stoke was good and the second half at Barnsley was excellent, so we are looking to take that into the Millwall game.'
Millwall have been boosted by the return of captain Paul Robinson who has been out for three weeks with a thigh problem.
Darius Henderson will return to the starting line-up following injury but fellow striker Dany N'Guessan misses out.
Stocky frontman Handerson has netter 16 goals from just 22 games this season, an impressive tally since signing from Sheffield United in the summer.
The former Watford man has always had a reasonable goalscoring record but his goals could single-handedly keep his side in the Championship.
Former Millwall man Theo Robinson is still out and will miss the clash with his former side.
Steven Davies will be on the bench after an extended absence with a fractured skull.
In the run-up to the game Ball said that the return of strikers Nathan Tyson and Steven Davies means he will have to hit top form to keep his place in the side.
He has been impressive since breaking into the side and has become a fans favourite with three excellent goals, including winners against Bristol City and Coventry City.
