Preview: Leicester City vs. Derby County

Sven Goran Eriksson´s Foxes have seven points from their last three games, but Nigel Clough´s Rams eclipse that total, with maximum points obtained from the last three.

Vital Quotes:

Kris Commons sees this Derby side as the top one he has featured in: 'This is the best team I've played in since turning professional,' said the former Nottingham Forest and Stoke City man.

'We're playing some great football, the movement off the ball is the best I've known and everyone knows exactly what their job is.

'You only have to ask opposition managers and other people who have watched us, when we are bombing forward, with the likes of Paul Green, Alberto Bueno, myself and Tomasz Cywka, we're like the Red Arrows sometimes, albeit in white shirts.'

Former Rams favourite Steve Howard is recognises the challenge his side faces as The Rams roll into the Walkers Stadium: 'We're happy to keep the run going and that's the main thing, but it's going to be a tough game against Derby and we're going to have to do better than that. We've got to get our heads down and work hard.'

The Foxes Team News:

Matt Oakley could return to the Leicester City squad after missing the last three games with a knee injury. Defender Miguel Vitor could also feature despite missing his side´s game in midweek.

Player to watch: Paul Gallagher

Forward/midfielder Gallagher scored an excellent free-kick in the midweek draw with Sheffield United. He can be somewhat unpredictable, but when he is on song he has real class.

The Rams Team News:

Miles Addison went under the knife to remove the screws in his foot, but he will now be out for about three weeks. Dean Leacock returns to the squad after his one-match ban. Luke Moore should be ready to play but the match might come too soon for Alberto Bueno.

Player to watch: Kris Commons

Midfielder Commons has slammed in nine goals this season which has earned him a Scotland recall. He looks like a real top-class player and his new found work rate has turned him into an even more important player for the team.
