Ghaly in line for Rams debut

Ghaly in line for Rams debut

Tottenham`s Hossam Ghaly is in line to make his Derby debut against Wigan Athletic at Pride Park on Saturday after his loan move to the Rams was completed.

The formalities of Egypt midfielder Ghaly's loan move until the end of the current season were completed on Friday morning ahead of the 12 noon Premier League registration deadline for the big game against manager Paul Jewell's former club.

Ghaly received a work permit approval on Thursday afternoon and he hopes to be involved in the Rams Vital clash.

There is some red tape to clear before Laurent Robert can make his debut for the club. The Rams are still awaiting confirmation of international clearance for the Frenchman, who signed a short-term deal earlier this week.

Robert is already registered and can play against Wigan - but only if international clearance comes through before 5pm Friday.

Rams officials remain confident the Frenchman will be available for Saturday's clash, which is heading for a 31,000 attendance, with tickets still on general sale.

he'll do a good job for you, would of like to see him have a run at the lane but was to never be

I bet my shirt on it !!!!!!!

He is actually a very good footballer - the problem that very day was that he was trying chmpagne passses on a completely soaked pitch. He also has what I like to call a fighting spirit. No-one at the lane wants you boys going down . we all love jewell as well. We'd like to see the likes of Fulham, boro, bolton go down. This guy will really be good for you. I wish you a great escape!

Cheers Bullers, but I think we need Steve McQueen for this great escape!!!!
dcfc
The feckin hammers did it - I think boro will be the surprise shock this term. COme on you Derby!!!!!

7-8 home wins and a couple of draw and a lucky win on th eroad and your in the money mate - don't be negative and go out there and support the hell out them.

One good thing is Jewell is here for the long term and if are relegated he can re-build the club in the Championship. But there are still 17 games to go so you never know. Come on you Rams!!!!!
dcfc
What position does Steve McQueen Play!!!!
Chaddo
We do need a centre half Chaddo!
dcfc
YOu need a keeper on loan as well from what I can gather. PJ is a good man though - as I said we all love him at the lane. I think he ranks up there with the best in post match interviews. martin Jol was always my favourite - be happy to see him go to Newcastle but then that would mena they'll be safe - wouldn't mind seeing those feckers go down
bullers
Will be a good signing for you and just gives you that little bit extra in midfield.
will it ever happen
