Paul Jewell is reportedly looking at bringing in Nigerian striker Patrick Ogunsoto, who plays for Belgian club K.V.C. Westerlo, to Pride Park.

The 24-year-old started his European career at Cypriot side Apol FC at the age of 16, but one year later he was transferred to Greek side Ergotelis FC.

In his first season at Ergotelis, Ogunsoto scored 30 goals in 32 games and the team was promoted to the second division.

Ogunsoto subsequently moved to the Belgian side K.V.C. Westerlo, where he currently is top scorer with 20 goals in 31 games.

Another Rams target has join the club on a week`s trial, Macedonian international Vlade Lazarevski, arrived in England last week and the 24-year-old defender is keen to impress the Rams coaching staff.

Lazarevski is currently playing in Poland with Dyskobolia of Groclin but he is eager to make the move to England.

Rams boss Jewell has already stated his desire to build for the long-term and Lazarevski could be an option.
