Rams chase Ewood Park Striker

Rams chase Ewood Park striker

The January transfer window is approaching rapidly and the Rams have today been linked with Blackburn Rovers Grenadian international striker Jason Roberts.

It`s been reported in most newspapers that Paul Jewell is keen on the 29-year-old,whom he worked with while boss at Wigan Athletic.

He signed the striker from West Bromwich Albion in 2004 for £2 million and he went on to play 93 league games for the Latics scoring 37 goals.

He joined Blackburn Rovers in 2006 for £3 million, but has struggled to hold down a first team spot at Ewood Park and a £2 million fee has been reported.
