Darren Moore On Hammers Game

Derby's Darren Moore looks forward to Saturday's tie at Pride Park and explains why his achievements with West Brom could inspire the Rams this season.

'We've got another big, tough game against West Ham on Saturday at Pride Park. This is a game we can get something out of. But every team we play against is a chance to get a win or a draw, every single team. It doesn`t matter whether they are a 'big' club or a 'small' club; anything can happen on the day.'

'On paper things might be different, but anything can happen. That`s what makes football a beautiful sport. When you least expect it the underdog can come up with the trump card. That's what we'll be aiming to do against West Ham.'

'I have been in this position before and I know anything is possible. I used to play for West Brom. I was there in the season where we became the first team to survive after being bottom at Christmas. We did it, and I know full well any team can survive. That season was a great inspiration and we can use that spirit to do the same at Derby.'

I have the greatest respect for Darren Moore since his days at Donny in the early nineties. I cannot believe he's really good enough nowadays for the Premiership.
