Tye a Ram full time
After a successful loan term from West Ham United last season the Rams have completed the £1million signing of defender Tyrone Mears, who has signed a three-year contract with the Rams.
Rams boss Billy Davies was delighted to secure his signature. He told the Rams official web site: "We are delighted to complete this deal because Tye is a very good young full-back with excellent pace and potential.
'We need him for the challenge ahead and I know he is committed to working hard with us because he has the exciting potential to improve still further.'
Mears was superb in the play-off victory against WBA, his two great last ditch tackles helped the Rams to victory and to the Premiership.
