Pompey at home in Rams opener

The Rams have been given a home start to life in Premiership with Harry Redknapp`s Portsmouth visiting Pride Park on Saturday August 11th. Their first road trip is a visit to the City of Manchester Stadium to take on Manchester City on Wednesday 15th August.

September is a big month for Billy Davies side with visits to Anfield on the 1st and the Emirates Stadium on the 22nd to meet Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.

In November Chelsea call at Pride Park on the 24th and the Rams visit old Trafford on December 8th. There is a big home Boxing Day clash with Liverpool visiting Pride Park. Due to copy rights the full fixtures can`t be published on this site check the clubs web site for the full list.

Manager Billy Davies said he would not look beyond the Portsmouth game as he surveyed the new fixture list.
'I think that we can look no further ahead than that,' said Davies. 'It's going to be a long, hard season but the most important thing is that we are prepared. We have got to be ready.

'On paper, you have the glamour games - we all know who the glamour teams are - but it will not be any easier against the rest of the teams because there are some real quality teams in there,' added Davies.
