Pride Park recall for Nyatanga

With the suspension of Darren Moore for the rest of the season, and Michael Johnson's injury, Billy Davies has recalled Lewin Nyatanga from his loan spell at Barnsley as cover. The Welsh international defender has made10 appearances since his move in February to Oakwell, scoring one goal. The talented 18-year-old also spent time on loan with Sunderland earlier this season.

Davies has acted quickly to sort cover for Moore with the final three games in Championship ahead, and he has invoked the clubs 24-hour recall option, which was included in the move.

Nyatanga developed as a player through the Rams Moor Farm academy, he signed professional forms for the club in August 2005. That month also saw him captain the Welsh Under-21 side prior to his 17th birthday, and make his Derby debut in a League Cup tie against Grimsby Town in the same season.
