Hamdaoui's Loan Cut Short

Spurs striker Mounir El Hamdaoui has had his loan spell at Pride Park cut short following injury.

The 21 year old joined onloan in September, making six appearances and scoring two goals.

'At the game on Tuesday, his shoulder did pop out and pop back in again, the medical people at Tottenham have said that if it is going to be a long-term injury, he would need to go back there and they will deal with it.'

Unfortunately that has been the case and the player could be looking at a couple of months on the sidelines, and the loan has been cancelled. However should the injury clear up quickly he will be allowed back to Derby to complete the deal.
