Ledley signed on a short-term deal with his contract due to expire at the end of the year but after negotiations concluded earlier this week he put pen to paper on an eighteen month extension with an option for another year. Talking to about the deal Ledley said:

"I`m delighted to sign a contract with the club. The club have been brilliant with me since I came through the door and they have welcomed me with open arms.
