Bryson Pays Tribute To Fans

Bryson Pays Tribute To Fans

Craig Bryson paid tribute to the Derby County fans after he committed his future to Derby County by signing a new five year deal last week.

Bryson was named Player of the Year last season for the second time in three years following a sensational campaign in which he scored sixteen goals including a hat-trick in the 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. The Scottish international was subject of a bid from Premiership new boys Burnley but after the offer was turned down Bryson signed an extension to his contract to commit to The Rams and told dcfc.co.uk:

"I see my future at Derby County and I am just happy to get everything sorted to extend my stay. I really appreciate that the fans have taken to me, we have got a nice bond, and it would have been hard to break it. It is a massive club; the fans have been excellent with me - as have the management staff - everything has been excellent and I am just delighted to get it over the line."
