McClaren Welcomes Pre-Season

Steve McClaren is relishing getting back to work ahead of pre-season training with the new season on the horizon.

With the fixtures already announced and a number of pre-season games pencilled in McClaren cannot wait to get back to work to make amends for the Play-Off Final defeat. With the players due to report back at the end of the week the preparations are well under way and McClaren told dcfc.co.uk:

"I`m relishing it and I think pre-season is the stage when you feel like things are really up and running towards the new season. We`re getting everything in order this week and it`ll be good to see the players on Friday to really start our preparations for next season. We want to build something here and we`re looking forward to the new season."
