Rotherham United Visiting On Opening Day

Derby County kick-off their 2014/15 campaign with a game against newly promoted Rotherham United at the iPro Stadium on Saturday, 9th August.

Steve Evans' side won promotion through the play-offs beating Leyton Orient at Wembley Stadium and this will be their first visit to Derby since the 2004/5 season. The Rams first away game in the league comes the following Saturday with the trip to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday.

Other fixtures of note include the trip to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday, 13th September with the return game on Saturday, 17th January. Boxing Day sees the short trip to play Birmingham City with Leeds United visiting the iPro Stadium on 28th December. The final day of the season has Reading coming to Derby to wrap up the campaign on Saturday, 2nd May.
