'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We're Up For It, Says Stead

As Rhodri Turner told us in a previous article, Cardiff are doing really well since dave Jones took over, and are currently top of the tree by three points.#

But Jon Stead reveals to Derby's official site that Derby are relishing the challenge, against the league leaders.

'It will be a tough game as Cardiff are doing well', says Stead.

They lost at the weekend but they are a good side.

'We know what they are about and it is a tough trip but it is one I can say everyone is looking forward to.'

Derby are in a comfortable 11th place in the league. He targets that they better what they are by the end of Novemeber.

'We're still well in with a shout as we're in a comfortable position', he added.

'Obviously we were disappointed with the result on Satrurday but there was not a lot we could have done about it as it was a freak goal that knocked us back.

'Now we have a tough game at Cardiff but if we can come out at the end of November in a similar position or higher we will be pleased with that.'

Hopefully Derby will do our fans tomorrow, and bring home all three points.

COME ON THE RAMS!
