'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Forsyth Deal Done

Craig Forsyth completed his move to Pride Park earlier this week putting pen to paper on a three year deal and the former Watford man is delighted to have his future sorted.

Forsyth spent three months on loan with The Rams at the backend of last campaign before returning to Vicarage Road for The Hornets play-off games but he was surplus to requirements. With Watford losing a large part of their squad from last season due to loans expiring and there being complications over bringing in new players the deal looked to have stalled but was finally completed over the weekend. With Derby`s squad reporting back for pre-season training Forsyth was keen to get back into action, talking to dcfc.co.uk about the transfer he said:

"It has been ongoing over the summer, but I am really pleased to get it done and to finally be here. The club made me feel wanted and that was a big thing for me. Last year I had a few spells out on loan; moving around a bit, but hopefully I can settle in here and spend at least the next three years here. I think that over the course of the final few months of last season I really started to enjoy football again, and that definitely made me want to come back here if that chance ever came up - and fortunately it did."
