Rams Pair In Provisional Squad
Derby County duo Conor Sammon and Jeff Hendrick have both been named in the provisional squad for the Republic of Ireland`s World Cup Qualifiers against Sweden and Austria at the end of March.
The pair have been named in the initial 29-man squad for those games with the squad being cut down this week ahead of the encounters in Stockholm and at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin respectively. Both players collected their first caps in the 2-0 friendly victory over Poland in February, a game in which teammate Richard Keogh also gained his first cap, and impressed Giovanni Trapattoni enough to earn the call for the next round of competitive matches.
