There has been movement both in an out of Pride Park today with changes to The Rams strikeforce and youngster Tom Naylor moving out on loan for the rest of the season.
Last season`s leading scorer Theo Robinson has joined Huddersfield Town on loan for the remaining months of the season as he looks for regular first-team football. Robinson has scored nine goals so far this season but has found himself out of favour with the return to fitness of Jamie Ward seeing the former Sheffield United man forming a partnership with Conor Sammon up front for Derby. Robinson has recently gained his first cap for Jamaica but despite playing his part off the bench in recent weeks he has been allowed to move back to Huddersfield where he started his career.
Coming in the opposite direction is striker Chris Martin who has initially moved to Pride Park on a months loan. The Norwich City striker has spent time on loan at Swindon Town earlier this season scoring once in twelve appearances having also spent time on loan at Crystal Palace the previous season. Martin`s contract is up in the summer so the loan could be we with a view a permanent deal should it be extended beyond the initial month.
In other transfer news Tom Naylor has joined Blue Square Premier side Grimsby Town on loan for the rest of the season. Naylor has only recently returned to The Rams after spending three months on loan at Bradford City and with it looking as though he does not feature in Nigel Clough`s immediate plans he has moved out on loan again to get more games.
