Bennet Back With Rams

Mason Bennett will return to training with Derby County having picked up three caps for England Under-17`s and another award to mark his progress into the professional game.

Bennett was awarded the LFE`s Apprentice of the Month award for January which capped a fine month for the youngster in which he became The Rams youngest ever goalscorer at 16 years and 174 days when he put the seal on the 5-0 victory against Tranmere Rovers. Bennett now holds that record alongside the record for the youngest ever player to appear for Derby after his debut at 15 years and 99 days against Middlesbrough in October 2011.

The youngster was named in England`s squad for their trip to Portugal to appear in the Algarve Tournament. Bennett started the first game for England as they lost 2-1 to Germany and came off the bench in the defeats t Portugal and Holland as they exited the tournament without a point.
