Rovers/Tigers Match News

Derby County will face Blackburn Rovers in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup on Saturday 26th January meaning that the nPower Championship game away to Hull City scheduled for that day has been postponed and will be rearranged at a later date.

The Rams reward for their 5-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers in round three is a less than inspiring home game against Blackburn Rovers. The Lancashire side held Derby to a 1-1 draw back in October under the guidance of caretaker manager Eric Black. Since then Henning Berg has come and gone in the hotseat and Michael Appleton is the latest incumbent to see if he can not only manage the side but convince the Venky`s that he knows more about football than them.

Hull City won 2-1 at Pride Park on the last Friday before Christmas to inflict only the second home defeat on The Rams this season and are currently sat in second place in the table but are eight points behind leaders Cardiff City. No new date has yet been announced for the clash.
