Bailey Could Make Coventry Return

James Bailey is back at Pride Park and training with The Rams but the club are in talks with Coventry City about extending the loan until the end of the season according to Nigel Clough.

Bailey moved to the Ricoh Arena earlier this season on a three month loan deal and has made eighteen appearances during his spell at the League One side before returning to Derby County just before the festive period. With the emergence of Will Hughes and the form of Craig Bryson, Jeff Hendrick and Paul Coutts in midfield Nigel Clough was happy to let the former young player of the year move out on loan and appears to been keen to allow the player to get more games by returning to Coventry. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about a potential deal Clough said:

"James is back with us for a few days now although Coventry have made it clear they would like to keep him, and we are talking to them about that. He`s enjoyed himself there and got games under his belt, so we`ll try and work something out which suits everyone. It`s no slight on James and his ability that he can`t get in our side."
