Bryson Hopes To Be Fit

Craig Bryson hopes to be fit for the visit of Hull City to Pride Park on Friday night despite having been replaced after sixty-eight minutes of the 2-0 victory over Bristol City at the weekend.

The clash with Steve Bruce`s in form side is taking place on Friday evening but Bryson is eager to get back onto the pitch after his recent knee injury. The former Kilmarnock midfielder missed the away defeat to Leicester City and the home victory against Leeds United before returning to the starting line-up at Ashton Gate on Saturday. Bryson scored The Rams` second goal but felt his knee in the second half and was replaced by Ben Davies. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the injury Bryson said:

"My knee got a little bit tight where I had strained my medial ligaments, so instead of trying to play through the pain when we were 2-0 up I signalled to the bench that it was tight. But hopefully I can rest up for the remainder of the week and get ready for Friday."
