'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brayford Knows Steel Is Needed

John Brayford was delighted with the three points picked up in the 2-0 victory against Bristol City at the weekend but he knows The Rams need to continue to be hard to beat away from home.

Derby`s form at Pride Park has been good this season but they have suffered on their travels losing four in a row before their win on Saturday. During this run of defeats The Rams had conceded twelve goals despite some decent performances and the talk before their first win at Ashton Gate in eighteen years concentrated on their need to tighten up at the back. The clean sheet was the first since a 2-0 victory over Barnsley at Pride Park at the start of November and Brayford told the Derby Evening Telegraph:

'It's about going into away games thinking the minimum we come away with is a 0-0 and if we get anything other than that, it is a bonus. We have to focus on trying to keep a clean sheet. Let the opposition try and break us down. Teams come to Pride Park wary of us at the moment. Now is the time to start picking up a few results on the road."
