Clough: Home Form Impressive

Nigel Clough is happy with his sides form at home this season following the 3-2 win against Birmingham City as they look to turn Pride Park into a ground that opponents do not like visiting.

The Rams have been in great form at Pride Park this season losing only once and scoring twentyone goals in nine games with another five goals in the Capital One Cup encounter with Scunthorpe United. They took the lead three times against Birmingham City in front of the SkySports camera's on Saturday and showed great spirit to secure a late win despite being pegged back twice in the second half.

Inconsistent away form has held back the progress shown by Nigel Clough's side in terms of league position but the results have shown how hard to beat his side are at home and he told dcfc.co.uk:

"Our results have shown this season we love playing at Pride Park and we`re still a little bit irked we`ve actually got one defeat to our name, because we certainly didn`t deserve to lose against Burnley. We think we`ve learnt from that loss where we went for it and got caught out. We`re aware that if we can`t win games we have to make sure we don`t lose them.'
