Top Half Finish?

Despite Derby County's inconsistent form over the last few games they are still destined for a top half finish, at least according to the latest Vital Derby poll.

The Rams have been in good form at Pride Park this season only losing once and scoring twentyone goals in nine games with another five goals in the Capital One Cup encounter with Scunthorpe United. However, away from home they have been less consistent with victories against Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town the only successes although they have picked up points at Wolves and Middlesbrough along the way.

Even given the contrast between results and having a young inexperienced side 40% of visitors to the Vital Derby site believe that The Rams will finish in the top half with a further 29% thinking they will finish in the play-off places and a very optimistic 9% believing they will finish in the top two!
