Bryson Should Return

Craig Bryson should return to the Derby County side for the visit of Blackpool on Saturday after missing out against Peterborough United on Saturday with a tight hamstring.

The former Kilmarnock captain felt his hamstring tighten during the week and Nigel Clough decided not to risk him at London Road during his sides 3-0 defeat to Peterborough United. Bryson had started the season well, scoring the winner against Nottingham Forest, and carried on from last season when he was voted fans' and players' player of the year. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the midfielder Clough said:

"We wanted Craig out there on Saturday and he was itching to play as well, but it was one of those occasions where we didn`t feel it was right to risk him. He felt a little tight and given it was a very cold day too, we didn`t want to push him out there and then see him pull his hamstring. We fully expect him to be back in the fold for the Blackpool game."
