Robinson Looking For Run In The Side

After scoring the late equaliser that earned his side a point against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend Theo Robinson wants more starts as he looks to repeat the performances that saw him become joint leading scorer for The Rams last season.

Having reportedly fallen foul of Nigel Clough after tweeting about being dropped from the starting line-up earlier this season Robinson has found himself mainly on the bench or even out of the matchday squad until recently. He has scored two goals in his last three starts and is now looking to continue his run in the side telling the Derby Evening Telegraph:

'It has been frustrating. The same thing happened to me last season, when I wasn't in the team to start with but then came into it more as the season went on. Hopefully, now I can kick on and cement my place in the team. I need to get some more starts but that's up to the gaffer and the coaching staff."
