Break At Good Time For Rams

Nigel Clough things the international break has come at the right time for his side to take a rest and reflect on the start they have made to the season with Derby County currently sat in thirteenth in the Championship.

The Rams are currently on a run of only one defeat in the last five and three unbeaten after a number of tough fixtures and at times their performances have deserved more than they have got from games leaving Clough to believe they could be better placed than they are. Having beaten Nottingham Forest at the end of September Clough`s side have picked up draws away to Middlesbrough, thanks to a late Paul Coutts goal, and at home to Brighton and Hove Albion before the international break. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the start to the season Clough said:

"The break is a good chance to sit back and reflect on the opening ten league games of the season and look at what we`ve done right, and what we`ve done wrong. It`s also a chance to look at how we can turn the performances we`ve produced into three points on a regular basis because we`ve deserved more than three wins so far this season. We have managed to get ourselves on a nice little unbeaten run so the next stage is to win a few more games and keep that confidence bubbling along nicely."
