Bryson Looking For Goals

Craig Bryson got off the mark goalscoring wise last week and is looking to beat his tally of six from last season as he continues to play a pivotal role in the centre of Derby County`s midfield.

Bryson scored from close range as The Rams beat Charlton Athletic 3-2 and perhaps should have doubled his tally when presented with a golden chance against Burnley but former Derby goalkeeper Lee Grant saved his effort. Derby have spread the goals around the team so far this season with all departments getting in on the act but Bryson wants to play a bigger role and is setting his sights high after a decent return in his first season in at Pride Park. Talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph about the target he has set himself Bryson said:

'You're always looking to get off the mark quite early in the season and it's nice to get that first one. I'm hoping I can beat last season's tally. I am looking for double figures, so we'll see how it goes. It is good to see everybody chipping in with goals as it takes the pressure off the strikers. It is good that we are not relying on one or two people."
