Bryson - There Is More To Come

Craig Bryson still thinks he has more to show to Derby County fans despite being voted as Player Of The Year in his first season at Pride Park and making a decent start in his second.

Bryson joined The Rams from Kilmarnock last summer with little being known about the former Killie skipper but he soon set about changing that with his energetic midfield displays and he was voted fans and players player of the season off the back of those performances making 44 appearances and scoring six times.

Bryson was called back into the Scotland squad for a trip to the USA over the summer but despite not being called upon to play his form in the centre of Derby`s midfield has obviously caught the eye of manager Craig Levein. Talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph about his time so far at Pride Park Bryson said:

"I moved down more than a year ago and it couldn`t have gone much better for me. I thrive on the pressure of being player of the year because I didn`t want to come down here and be a one-season wonder. To get player of the year in my first season was an excellent boost for me but I still think I`ve got something to prove. If I can play well for Derby in the next few years that will be excellent."
