International Call-Ups

There have been international call-ups for two of Derby County's squad with a third also being put on standby for upcoming games.

Jeff Hendrick has been named in the Republic of Ireland's Under-21 squad for the qualifiers against Hungary and Italy on September 6th and 10th respectively. Ireland need to win both games in order to finish second in the group behind Italy and maintain any hope of qualifying.

Jamie Ward has been named in the Northern Ireland squad for start of their European Championship qualification campaign away to Russia on 7th September and at home to Luxembourg on 11th September. Ward currently has two full caps to his name.

Will Hughes, who has made the breakthrough into the firstteam squad this season, has been put on standby for the England Under-19 side ahead of their friendly with Germany in Hamburg on 6th September. Hughes has been previously capped at Under-17 level for England this year and will be called into the squad should any of the eighteen man squad pull out through injury.
