Hoganson Signs One Year Deal

Hoganson Signs One Year Deal

Michael Hoganson has signed a one year contract with Derby County after being released by Newcastle United at the end of last season.

The 18-year-old midfielder had been on trial at Northampton Town where he was offered a deal but he then turned out in a couple of friendlies for The Rams and did enough there and in training to earn himself a one year contract at Pride Park. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the deal Nigel Clough said:

'We're pleased Michael has decided to join us; he's a young player who has the potential to improve. Primarily, we're looking for him to be part of our new under-21 side but he will also provide cover down the left-hand side of the first-team squad.'
