Keogh Happy To Be Playing Again

New Derby County captain Richard Keogh is pleased to be playing again with the pre-season games coming thick and fast at the moment.

Keough joined The Rams from Coventry City and has been handed the armband in the absence of the injured Shaun Barker. He made his first start against Mansfield Town last week and also made an appearance against Burton Albion on Saturday as he looks to step up his fitness in time for the new season. Talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph Keogh said:

'It was good to play with my new team-mates and it is about getting to know how they play, and them getting to know how I play. I was pretty pleased with how I felt. I was pleased with certain things I did and disappointed with a couple of things I did. Admittedly, there was also some rustiness but, overall, it was a good workout.'
