Ball Looking To Benefit From Loan

Ball Looking To Benefit From Loan

Callum Ball hopes his loan move to Coventry City will allow him to gain more playing time and game experience and he will come back to Pride Park a better player and pushing for a place in The Rams starting line-up.

Ball broke into the first team last season making a total of 25 appearances, 13 of them starts, and scored 3 goals and with Chris Maguire having the left the squad already and Steve Davies seemingly on his way the youngster may have expected to feature this season but he has been allowed to go out on loan. Talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph about the deal Ball said:

'I had a good season at Derby but the gaffer said that this year it would be a bit up and down, starting some weeks and on the bench in others. I was a little bit surprised but things like this happen and you have to go out and, hopefully, play more football. Hopefully, this move will work in my favour. I'm still only young and I've got to see it as a positive."
