'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Departure Won't Change Plans

Nigel Clough says that Tom Glick`s departure from Pride Park will not affect his plans over the summer in terms of bringing players to the club. Glick is joining Premier League champions Manchester City after four and a half years working for The Rams and he was worked closely with Clough over the years in terms of player transactions. Talking to dcfc.co.uk Clough said:

'Tom's departure will have little impact on what we do this summer and our plans for the new campaign. In many ways, Tom's departure is like losing a good player. Tom has been a key player for Derby County off the field for the last few years and while we're sorry to see him go, we will continue to push on and try to build on the positives of the last 12 months."
