Rams Pair Prepare For Internationals

Paul Green and Jamie Ward are preparing for midweek internationals having both been called up to their respective national squads. Green has been called up to Giovanni Trappatoni`s Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly with the Czech Republic at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday night, Green has made fourteen appearances for The Rams so far this season after returning from injury although his contract is up at the end of the season with no new deal having yet been agreed.

Ward has been called up to the first Northern Ireland squad to be named by new manager Michael O`Neill since he was appointed to the position in December of last year following the departure of Nigel Worthington. The striker has been named in previous squads this season but his hamstring injury prevented him from adding to his previous caps.
