Addison To Move On?

Miles Addison believes his future may lie away from Pride Park after joining Bournemouth on loan until the end of the season. The 23 year-old midfielder broke into the Derby County team when just seventeen under Terry Westley and then became a regular under Paul Jewell but things have not gone so well for him since Nigel Clough took over the reigns with injuries and poor form restricting his chances in the side. A serious foot injury kept him out for long periods and despite signing a new contract last summer he spent the early part of this season on loan at Barnsley and has now joined Bournemouth until the end of the current campaign.

Addison has made sixty-five appearances for The Rams scoring five goals but having been sent out on loan for the second time this season he believes his future lies elsewhere with the possibility of the loan turning into a permanent deal in the summer. Talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph Addison said:

'I don't know what is going off at Derby with my future but I don't think it will be there. It is a bit strange. I signed a new contract and I thought my future would be there but it hasn't worked out. They gave me a new contract in the summer and told me to go and get some games, so I went out on loan at Barnsley. I got injured and went back to Derby but the last three weeks I've not played. I just want to play as many games as I can between now and the end of the season.'
