Tyson Glad To Be Back

Nathan Tyson was delighted to make his long awaited return from injury against Ipswich Town at Portman Road despite the final score. Having played only 11 minutes so far this season after being troubled by a groin injury picked up in pre-season the former Nottingham Forest striker had become increasingly frustrated with his fortune but finally got back on the pitch in the 82nd minute of The Rams 1-0 defeat. A controversial Keith Andrews goal won the game for the home side but Tyson was pleased to get back into the action and told the Derby Evening Telegraph:

'It felt fantastic just to get out there and have a run. It was good to travel with the lads - it was a last-minute thing. I managed to do a full week's training and everything held out OK. When I came on, I felt the cobwebs come off! I had a bit of a poor touch when I tried to cross the ball but that will all come together in time.'
