Pearson Eyeing Permanent Deal

Stephen Pearson is not ruling out the possibility of his loan move to Bristol City turning into a permanent deal when his two month loan expires on January 2nd. Having missed the back end of last season with injury Pearson has found his opportunities limited at Pride Park this season despite returning to fitness and Derek McInnes acted quickly after being appointed manager at Ashton Gate to bring the former Celtic midfielder to the club.

Pearson made an immediate impact scoring on his debut and with his contract up in the summer there is a possibility of the deal becoming permanent. Talking about the move Pearson told the Bristol Evening Post:

'What is important for me right now is doing well for Bristol City and to show the fans that I am capable of being a good player. I like to get forward from the left-hand side, so I hope to chip in with a few goals to help the team climb the league. This is a big club in a lovely city. There is a good manager in charge and an ambitious group of lads here, so there would be no reason not to want to stay here.'
