Clough Deal Completed

The speculation surrounding Nigel Clough`s future has been put to bed with the news that he has put pen to paper on a new deal to keep him at the club until 2015 along with the rest of the backroom team that have contributed to their strong start to the season. The club and Clough himself have always said the deal would signed in due time but speculation had increased recently with Nottingham Forest`s poor start to the season and the resignation of Steve McClaren. After news at the weekend that negotiations were underway Clough has agreed on terms to keep him and the rest of his team at Pride Park for another three years beyond the end of this season. Talking to the official website Clough said:

"We are all delighted that our futures have been sorted out and that we have to opportunity to continue the work of the last two and half years of trying to improve this Club. From day one we knew this was going to be a long term project and it is still very much a work in progress.

'We all love working here and care passionately about bringing success to the supporters who have remained so loyal during some difficult times. There is nowhere else we would want to be.'
