Davies - We Can Beat Anyone

Ben Davies says Derby County can beat anyone in the division but maybe need to believe in themselves a little more ahead of the televised top of the table clash with Leicester City on Saturday. Davies has recovered from a tough first season at Pride Park to be one of The Rams most consistent performers in the early stages of the new season and he currently sits top of the assists charts in the Championship after creating seven goals for his teammates so far.

Having never played above the bottom two divisions during his professional career Davies went away in the summer to get fit and came back flying in pre-season and has carried that form forwards. Talking to BBC East Midlands Today he said the side need to have belief in themselves saying:

'We don't believe in ourselves enough sometimes. We are a young team and the lads do believe in themselves but sometimes you have to look round and see the type of players we have. The whole squad is talented and we can beat anyone in this league, we just have to keep proving it.'
