Bryson Delighted With Deal

Craig Bryson spoke of his excitement to be signing for Derby County after he completed his move to Pride Park signing a three year deal earlier this week. The former Kilmarnock captain was keen to complete his move south of the border and sees it as the completion of a journey he started in January 2007 when he spent time on trial with The Rams under Billy Davies. Bryson also spoke of his ambition to reach the top level matching that of the club and what he saw as a step up in standards possibly helping with his future international career. Speaking to BBC Scotland in relation to the drawn out transfer Bryson said:

'I think every player would worry after so many bids got rejected, but the amount of bids shows how much they wanted me and gives me great belief. It is a massive club. I've been down and seen the stadium and training ground and everything there is set up for the Premiership. I hope I can help the team get up much higher in the league than finishing 19th. Everybody wants to play in the Premier league, but I am just delighted I have the chance to play in the Championship with Derby.'
