Early Bird Renewal Figures Announced

Derby County have announced that approximately 16, 200 fans have taken advantage of the early bird price in order to renew their season tickets for the 2010/11 season, despite the figure being slightly down on this time last year Tom Glick is happy with the numbers that have so far taken up this option.

With a money back guarantee in place until the opening day of the season it is still possible for fans to receive a full refund should they not be happy with the summer recruitment that appears to be gathering pace with plenty of time before the new season for new season tickets to be sold. Speaking to Radio Derby Glick said:

'We are north of 16,000 which is a great number to be at and while we were 19,500 this season, if you look at year-on year in mid-May, we are almost where we were."

'We are about 500 seats behind which is extremely encouraging. There's no doubt the economy has challenged people. We have done very well and are extremely appreciative of all the season ticket holders who have made a commitment.'
