Young Rams Earn Callups

Ahead of this week`s international break two young Rams have been named in their respective nation`s squads with Conor Doyle and Daniel Ayala being called up to the USA Under-20 and Spain Under-21 sides respectively. Doyle has been a regular in the USA squad since his arrival at Pride Park this summer and has also been capped by the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level in January after qualifying through his father. Daniel Ayala has impressed since joining on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season and has made eight starts and one substitute appearance in the Rams` side leading to his callup. Nigel Clough believes this is nothing less than he deserves after his move and told dcfc.co.uk:

'This is a great accolade for Daniel and we're pleased to have helped him along the way to get this call-up. He has been excellent for us. We fought long and hard to bring him here, and he is showing everyone exactly why with his performances on the pitch.'
