Rams chase striker Pahars
Latvian international Marian Pahars is reportedly a target for Derby.
Pahars (29) was released by Southampton at the end of last season after an injury-plagued last 3 years on the South Coast, where he started just 11 games.
Coventry City are also believed to be in the hunt, along with various clubs around Europe.
Any deal for Pahars would surely be short-term or pay-as-you-play due to his injury record, but if fit he would undoubtedly be a quality addition to Billy Davies' squad.
