Comfortable Mid-Table Finish?

Derby County are set for a comfortable mid-table finish this season, at least according to the latest Vital Derby survey that is with nearly a third of all respondents realistically expecting us to finish in mid-table. Only just behind this a full 29% expected us to finish in the play-off places which is a very achievable target despite the recent poor run of five defeats in the last six matches leaving The Rams sat just outside of the top six. Another 20% think we can still finish in the top two and achieve automatic promotion although we will need to go on another run soon if we are still to dream of promotion in this manner, presumably those votes were cast whilst sweeping aside all comers at Pride Park during the earlier unbeaten run. The full results are as follows:

With a third of the season gone where can The Rams realistically expect to finish?

Top Two - 20%
Play-Off Place - 29%
Mid-Table - 31%
Bottom Half - 6%
Relegation Scrap - 5%
Bottom Three - 9%
