'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kuqi Joins Derby

Shefki Kuqi has joined Derby on loan from Championship rivals Swansea.

The 33-year-old, who has plenty of experience in English football and has played at the highest level with Blackburn Rovers, has signed on a three-month loan much to Clough's delight.

"Shefki has been a potent threat against us in the past and now we hope he can do exactly the same in a Derby County shirt.

He will give us a presence in attack. He is big, strong and has been a goalscorer wherever he has been."

Clough was talking to the official website.

The Finland international striker is expected to make his Rams debut against Hull.
