Alberto Bueno Close To Rams Move

Real Valladolid forward Alberto Bueno is close to joining Derby, with the club hopeful that a move to Pride Park can be completed before the transfer deadline.

"We have enjoyed productive talks with the player and Real Valladolid and hope for an outcome before the transfer window closes."

This is what a Derby spokesman said.

The 22-year-old former Real Madrid youngster joined Valladolid a year ago for 3m although they suffered relegation from the top flight in Spain last season. He, and Valladolid president Carlos Suarez, visited the Derby training ground on Sunday after watching the 2-2 draw with QPR on Saturday.

Bueno would join on loan, which is expected to be a season long deal.
