Rooney to play in world cup

Judging by the reaction and the broad smile on his face Wane Rooney WILL be returning to Baden-Baden and England`s World Cup set-up.

Rooney has spent almost 2 hours in a Manchester hospital together with representatives of Both England and Manchester United discussing the results of his scan.

It is believed that both sides wanted assurances that playing on the injured foot would not cause any further damage or risk the youngsters` future at club or international level.

A country awaits to see when exactly he will play, with all pointers being maybe 20 minutes against Sweden a week on Tuesday

sven has said that rooney 'will play a part' in Englands world cup tournament

A great bit of news. I think the england players were well up for it without W.R. but the confidence will be boosted tremendously by his inclusion.
